How to Make Caipirinha (Brazilian drink)
Ingredients:
- Lime
- Sugar
- Cachaça (pronounced => kuh-sha-suh and also known as aguardente de cana, sugarcane alcohol);
- Ice
- Muddler
- On-the-rocks glass
- Shot glass
#1 – Get an on-the-rocks glass;
#2 – 2 to 3 limes,Cut the lime into eight wedges (not slices) and remove the white part in the middle (to avoid bitterness)
#3 – Add 2 or 3 table spoons of sugar on the top of the lime slices;
#4 – With a muddler (mash the lime and sugar really well);
#5 – With a shot glass, add 2 shots of cachaça (can be made with vodka too);
#6 – Stir well to thoroughly dissolve the sugar, add cracked ice, stir and enjoy.
P.S: You can add some mint for a flavorful taste.
